With the delivery of laboratory equipment for the implementation of the study programs of automotive engineering at University in Nis, the purchase of equipment using EACEA funds has been completed in the framework of TEMPUS DIAUSS project. Visit of UNIBO representatives to KG and NIS

Representatives from UNIBO (dr Ana Pavlovic and dr Cristiano Fregassa) visited University of Nis and University of Kragujevac in the last week of April 2014. Several meetings were dedicated to (financial and operational) management. With the participation of representatives from VGTU an UNS, one of the meetings at University of Kragujevac was dedicated to quality control of the project, with emphasize on the quality of outcomes/results dedicated to urban engineering working packages and expected results till the end of the project. The meeting was also part of inter-tempus coaching with 543662-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-ME-TEMPUS-JPHES-EQIWBC “Improvement of partnership with enterprises by enhancement of regional quality management potentials in WBC” project. The meeting in Nis was also devoted to sharing the experience of organisation of laboratory work in automotive engineering.

The visit of SER representatives to POLITO

Torino2014

 20 Representatives from all Serbian academic partners (7 UKG, 4 UNI, 4 UNS, 2 DUNP) as well as representatives from non-academic partners (2 HS1 and 1 FAS) visited Politechnioco di Torino from June 16th to 20th, 2014.

The 17th June was designated to the organised visit to FIAT plant at Mirafiori sight. The group visited facilities for the production of car body and for car assembly as well as a complete production line of Abarth. It was the chance to see in detail the advanced way of organisation of car production process.


The meetings on 18th June were organized at the premises of Politechnico di Torino main site. Prof. Giovanni Belingardi, prof. Federico Millo and prof. Patrizio Nuccio had lectures about the organization of study process and scientific work at their institution. The afternoon session was related to the visit of few laboratories at POLITO departments (DENERG - Dipartimento Energia and DIMEAS -Dipartimento di Ingegneria Meccanica e Aerospaziale) in order to get insight into the concept of their organization. The laboratories were presented in detailed and equipment was shown to representatives from Serbian delegation and explained student requirements when they perform laboratory exercises. Beside it was the chance to share the experience of POLITO to FAS and UKG representatives concerning the organization of student internship.

The morning of 19th June was dedicated to the visit to TRW Automotive Italia industrial plant at Bricherasio. TRW is a global leading developer and supplier of active and passive vehicle systems. After the lectures of plant manager Mr. Sergio Fassio related to Occupant safety systems in vehicles, the project team had the privilege to visit and to thoroughly familiarize with laboratories, warehouse and production lines of the factory. In the afternoon, the group visited POLITO site at Mirafiori. After the presentation of prof. Belingardi: The triangle of knowledge at Politecnico di Torino – a cluster approach and presentation of prof. Romagnoli and prof. Bedolla: Implementation of PLM framework in academic courses, the Serbian representatives had fruitful discussion and exchange of experiences with teachers at automotive engineering study program at POLITO (prof. Belingardi, prof. Pia, Prof. Borzari, prof. Romagnoli and prof. Bedolla).

Technical visit of TUKE experts to UKG 2014 QC

TUKE to QC

Projct team consisting of 9 representatives from Technical Univesity Kosice visited University of Kragujevac from 21-23 May 2014. The main part of activities was related to training of teachers and improvement of university staff skills.

As a part of QUALITY FESTIVAL 2014 (organized in the framework of TEMPUS JP 543662-2013), seminars for teachers of automotive and urban engineering courses (from all Serbian participating universities) were organized in order to provide knowledge transfer to Serbian partners.

The purpose of the seminars was to increase the capacities of university teachers for the development of new teaching materials for the realisation of defined and upgraded courses at four Serbian Universities.

The presentations related to automotive industry were:

2. APPLICATION OF MODERN TOOLS FOR NOISE DYNAMIC VISUALIZATION, Marek Moravec
3. QUALITY EVALUATION OF THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT, Miriama Pinosova
4. UTILIZATION OF WASTE PLASTIC FOR REDUCING NOISE IN URBAN SETLMENTS, Ervin Lumnitzer
5. ASSESSING THE PHYSICAL FACTORS IMPACT ON HUMAN HEALTH, Alexandra Goga Bodnarova

The second part of activities was dedicated to the visit of TUKE representatives (incharged for quality control/management) to laboratories with purchased equipment and to the organisation of management meeting related to further project activities and financial issues.
